The church can be a place of division, brokenness, and shame. Or it can be boring, an interruption to your weekend, not a good enough excuse to get up early or miss brunch. So what's the point of being part of a church? Why not be a Christian solo or leave the faith altogether? Join Dr. Kira Moolman Pettit and weekly guest speakers to hear more about why the church is still worth it today.

Confirmation is a time milestone in a young person’s faith. In The Episcopal Church, we practice infant baptism and allow students to renew their baptismal vowels when they get older; this is done during Confirmation. Bishop C. Andrew Doyle, Bishop of Texas will lead this year's Confirmation ceremony.

Confirmation is a sacramental rite in which the candidates "express a mature commitment to Christ, and receive strength from the Holy Spirit through prayer and the laying on of hands by a bishop." This Confirmation service for adults will be led by the Rt. Rev. C. Andrew Doyle, Bishop of Texas.
Serving is a great way to get connected with others and make a difference. When you volunteer, you can make church feel like home, and share your faith in Houston and beyond.
