More than a bed!
I remember my first night in that bed, feeling so overwhelmed with gratefulness and peace. I slept better than I could ever remember before, and I felt myself gaining more confidence and feeling more hopeful about life going forward.
A bed is a basic need for the proper physical, emotional, and mental support that a child needs. Giving a bed to a child is so much more than a physical change. It affects them emotionally and mentally in ways far beyond that - giving them hope for a better future.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace Bed Building Event
Saturday, March 22
Meet in the Westheimer parking lot to set up (8 am) and turn lumber into bunks (9 am – 12:30 pm). We’ll teach you everything you need to know. Childcare available! We also need folks to deliver and set up the beds from 10 am – 3 pm!
