Sleep in Heavenly Peace
More than a bed!
I remember my first night in that bed, feeling so overwhelmed with gratefulness and peace. I slept better than I could ever remember before, and I felt myself gaining more confidence and feeling more hopeful about life going forward.
A bed is a basic need for the proper physical, emotional, and mental support that a child needs. Giving a bed to a child is so much more than a physical change. It affects them emotionally and mentally in ways far beyond that - giving them hope for a better future.
We will come together the Sunday after Easter to provide 65 beds (along with bedding and special stuffed animal friends) to children in our community so they, too, can sleep in heavenly peace. There are many ways to help!
Build and Deliver Beds
Sat, Apr. 6: Meet in the Westheimer parking lot to set up (8 am) and turn lumber into bunks (9 am – 12:30 pm). We’ll teach you everything you need to know. Childcare available! We also need folks to deliver and set up the beds from 10 am – 3 pm!
Donate to the Build
Donate as you like. Each complete bed costs $250, a mattress is $100, and lumber for one bed is $115.
