St. John the Divine is looking for enthusiastic, professional people who are seeking to use their gifts and talents to change lives for God in Christ.
Principal Function: The Director of Parish Giving develops and implements our stewardship campaign with branding strategies, planning with stakeholders, event scheduling and communications to the parish. An expertise with Ministry Platform will need to be developed in order to collect, analyze and interpret critical stewardship data. Communication with clergy and senior staff regarding stewardship strategy and data analysis is needed along with the developing and implementing additional legacy stewardship programs such as The Sumners Legacy Society and The Memorial Endowment Fund. Additional tasks include assisting with the capital campaign, responding to parishioners regarding stewardship questions, coordinating with finance department regarding year-end pledge collection efforts, distributing quarterly and annual financial statements to parishioners, and planning stewardship receptions along with other acts of appreciation.
Principal Function: To provide safe, secure, nurturing, clean, and efficient care to our children. Ministry responsibilities include playing with the children or directing their play, reading to them, praying with children, exhibiting patience and love, and relating the events of the day to the lesson and theme in words the child can understand.
