Whether you are new to St. John the Divine or a long-time member, you might have some questions about what Christians believe and how The Episcopal Church fits into those beliefs. Join Dr. Kira Moolman Pettit and guest clergy teachers to talk through the foundational beliefs of Christianity from an Episcopal perspective. We will explore topics such as the Bible, the Creed, the Book of Common Prayer, Baptism, Confirmation, and the Holy Eucharist, examining how these beliefs are applied in real life within our community. This class is a chance for you to ask your questions, get to know some of the leadership here, and make new friends. On November 2, you will also have the chance to meet one of our bishops, a leader within The Episcopal Church, with the invitation to officially join our church family in a special Confirmation service.
