“Maundy" comes from a Latin word meaning "command." We observe Maundy (commandment) Thursday in Holy Week with a foot-washing service followed by a worship service that commemorates the Last Supper, which ends with the solemn stripping of the altar.
You may begin your family's Maundy Thursday experience by participating in foot washing in the Julia Garden. You are welcome to come any time from 6:30 – 7 pm.
Children's programming is available in the Chapel beginning at 6:45 p.m. During the passing of the Peace, children will join their parents in the Church.
Child care is available in the administration building.
