Sundays — 10:15 am Returns Jan. 8
Sundays at 10:15 am in L18
Leaders: The Rev. Neal McGowan and Dan Gannon
We often discuss how we, as individuals, are called to a personal relationship with God. But what of the family unit? Between school runs, soccer practice, and the work-life balance tightrope, how do we find a deeper commitment to God?
In this class, we will be looking at Scripture and the theological tradition of the church to help us see God’s purposes for families, and how he calls us to serve beyond our biological family into the body of Christ. We will also spend a few minutes of each class going over a very simple devotional or spiritual practice that you can integrate into your family life.
There's Something About Mary
Sundays, December 4, 11, and 18 at 10:15 am in L18
The Family Matters class dives into Advent with an exploration of Mary. These three sessions will examine three key moments of Mary’s faithfulness: the Annunciation, the Disputation (also known as the Finding in the Temple), and the Wedding at Cana.
