Walking the Mourner's Path seeks to answer the question - "Where is God in my pain?”
It is a place to come in our pain, to be comforted; a place to come together and to join hearts and hands so that we can do together what we cannot do alone.
Walking the Mourner’s Path will again be offered this spring at SJD for those who have lost someone to death. Workbooks at the cost of $50 are utilized to provide for discussions and explorations on one concept of grief each week; class size is limited to about 10 participants. The program consists of eight 90-minute weekly small group workshops that are guided by trained facilitators and clergy. Norie Baldwin and Mickey Brock serve as facilitators, and The Rev. Louise Samuelson serves as clergy support.
The group will meet for eight Tuesdays, 3:00 – 4:30 p.m., beginning March 18 and concluding on May 6 in the Chapel Family Room. It is important that you attend all sessions.
