St. John the Divine is closed today in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Due to the impending winter storm, the building will also be closed on Tuesday, January 21. Depending on the severity of the weather, the campus may remain closed on Wednesday morning. We will monitor conditions closely and provide updates here.
Join SJD parishioners, including Ann Cochran who serves at the reception desk, among many others who regularly volunteer in multiple capacities, at Agape. For more information you can contact Ann or Amanda Garner, Volunteer Coordinator.
Camp Agape is a fun-filled, action-packed summer camp for K-5th graders. Over the course of their five weeks at Camp Agape, campers study the Bible during daily chapel time, explore the city through weekly field-trip adventures, learn new skills through volunteer-led courses, and reinforce learning gains with interactive, enrichment activities.
Spend one week as a Camp Agape Assistant to be a part of the camp fun! Volunteers will be with the same group of children all week so that they can get to know the campers. They will assist with preparing for the day, help with games and enrichment activities, and chaperone field trips.
Time commitment is Monday thru Friday from 9:30-2:30. We ask that teenagers who wish to serve have completed their freshman year in high school.
