Altar Guild

If you enjoy working behind the scenes, the Altar Guild has a place for you! We work in teams and set up the altar for services in the Church, Chapel, or Hall Life Center. Each team works approximately once every five weeks. Experienced members train new members. We welcome men and women and many of our members work full or part-time. We can usually accommodate your schedule. Serving with the altar guild will deepen your connections with other members and your understanding of the liturgy of the Episcopal Church.

St. John the Divine also has a Linen Guild that washes the altar cloths. Linen Guild members are not responsible for ironing — only getting out wine and lipstick stains.
