Books Between Kids

The mission of Books Between Kids is to serve Houston's at-risk children by providing them with books to build their home libraries. Their community of volunteers collects new and like-new books throughout the city and helps sort and prepare them for free book fairs called 'Book Celebrations'. More than 40,000 Houston kids in 33 zip codes participate in these events at their schools where they can select at least 6 free books to take home, cherish, and keep.

Volunteer by yourself or with your family, friends, or classmates to count, sort, bag, and box books!
