Our Global Mission Partners
St. John the Divine’s support of Amistad Mission has a direct and powerful impact on children and families in Bolivia—providing education, housing, and vocational training to some of the most vulnerable. In addition to financial support, SJD sends mission teams to Amistad, building lasting relationships and offering hands-on service that deepens our connection to their community.
St. John the Divine’s long-standing partnership with Nueva Vida has helped expand access to education, therapy, and healthcare services for children and families impacted by disability in Santa María de Jesús, Guatemala. Nueva Vida takes a holistic approach—providing wraparound family support, spiritual formation, and individualized care that leads to lasting impact. Continued support will help nurture each child’s God-given potential, strengthen families, and break cycles of poverty, exclusion, and marginalization through education and faith.
St. John the Divine’s partnership with the Haiti Education Foundation has directly impacted St. Etienne School by fully funding its 17-member staff—ensuring stability, quality education, and hope in a deeply underserved rural region. Beyond financial support, SJD parishioners remain connected through prayer, Zoom updates, and ongoing engagement, building lasting bonds and reinforcing the long-term transformation possible through targeted investment and faithful relationship.
Through financial support and mission teams, St. John the Divine has long partnered with Mexico Medical Mission to provide essential medical care to underserved communities in the Sierra Mountains of Chihuahua. This relationship has allowed SJD parishioners to witness the transformative power of compassion in action, offering healing, hope, and dignity. Continued involvement affirms our commitment to walking alongside those in need, both physically and spiritually.
St. John the Divine’s partnerships in Nepal (Abba House Children's home, Higher Ground, Crossway Church, and Stepping Stone Transition Home) reflect a deep commitment to supporting the growth of the Church, caring for orphans, training and employing underprivileged women, education, and community development in one of the most spiritually rich yet economically challenged regions of the world. Less than 5% of Nepalese are Christians, but like in the early church, the Gospel is spreading rapidly. Through long-standing relationships with these local ministries and leaders, SJD has provided financial support, prayer, a venue to sell beautiful crafts made by the women, and mission team visits. These have strengthened Christian witness, empowered women and raised children, and supported rural churches and theological education. These partnerships are rooted in mutual encouragement and shared faith. Our continued support allows SJD to stand with our Nepalese brothers and sisters as they boldly live out the gospel in a complex and beautiful cultural context.
St. John the Divine’s partnership with the Anglican Diocese of Kondoa is a growing expression of global mission and mutual faith. Through financial gifts, pastoral exchange, and parishioner visits, SJD is investing in church leadership and theological education in Tanzania. This vibrant relationship is deepening bonds across the Anglican Communion, enriching both communities in their shared calling to proclaim the Gospel and serve others.
