Our church, The Episcopal Church, is so much larger than this corner of River Oaks Blvd and Westheimer. Join Bishop Josiah Fearon and the Rev. Trent Pettit as they discuss how our church began – from the Roman Catholic Church to the Church of England, and then how the Church of England spread out to America, Canada, the Bermuda Triangle, the West Indies, South Africa, New Zealand, and more. This class will explore how the global Anglican communion started and where it stands today, with special attention to the role that Canada, the United States, and New Zealand contributed to the Anglican communion.
