Sundays, 10:15am    |    Begins April 27

GO: Loving Our City Like Jesus
Sundays, April 27 - May 18, 10:15 - 11 am, Hall Life Center
June 1, 10:15 am - 12:15 pm, Youth Room | Lunch Included

Many of us desire to take seriously God’s call to welcome the stranger, to be a light to the city, and to go forth to love and serve the LORD! But we often feel overwhelmed and unequipped to do so. Where do we start? How does this become part of our lives? This series helps us recognize that in order to welcome the stranger, we must also become the stranger, as Jesus did – ready not just to help, but also to receive. Incorporating a scriptural foundation, real-life case studies, and a training session from Agape Development, we hope that this series will equip you to come alongside our community.

June 1: Community Engagement Training with Agape Development
Come to the Youth Room (upstairs in the administration building) from 10:15 am - 12:15 pm to learn how to be closer to our city and so love it as Jesus does. Agape Development's Community Engagement Training is an interactive workshop aimed at expanding our idea of service through self-reflection and data-based best practices. The goal of the Community Engagement Workshop is that you come away feeling curious and excited to engage with the many communities to which you belong.
