St. John the Divine is closed today in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Due to the impending winter storm, the building will also be closed on Tuesday, January 21. Depending on the severity of the weather, the campus may remain closed on Wednesday morning. We will monitor conditions closely and provide updates here.

Partners in the Gospel: Reading the Letter to the Philippians Together
Sundays, January 5 – March 30
10:15 am in the Hall Life Center
Taught by the Rev. Dr. R. Leigh Spruill and lay teachers
Paul begins his letter to the Philippians by writing, "I thank my God every time I remember you. In every prayer for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." (Philippians 1:3-6)
Join us this January through March to hear about what it means to be partners in the gospel at St. John the Divine as we walk through the letter to the Philippians together. Our rector, the Rev. Dr. Leigh Spruill, and our gifted lay leaders will teach this class. The format will include small group discussions after the teaching.
