What are the primary elements involved in the spiritual growth of a Christian and the vitality of one’s congregation? These are the two primary questions our rector, Leigh Spruill, will be addressing in his six-week course beginning Sunday, February 15. Engaging Scripture, episodes of renewal in church history, and contemporary realities facing Christians today, this adult offering aims to help participants understand and embrace the means to deepen their faith. The class will also connect our personal growth in the gospel to our broader vision as a parish family as we look to our exciting future.
This course is for any and all members of the parish and will be particularly helpful for those who desire to learn more about our vision at SJD and what membership looks like. Thus, all newcomers and those wanting to get more engaged in congregational life are encouraged to attend these sessions.
