Bishop Alphonce Baya visits SJD
Bishop Alphonce Baya of the Diocese of Mombasa will be visiting SJD & will teach an adult Sunday School class at 10:15 am, followed by the Modern Worship service at 11:15 am, where he will preach. Come join us in the Hall Life Center to hear what the Lord is doing outside through the Diocese of Mombasa, and learn how we can be part of the Lord's ministry around the world.

The Rt. Rev. Dr. Alphonce Mwaro Baya has served as Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Mombasa, Kenya, since 2018. As bishop of the oldest diocese in the Anglican Church of Kenya, he leads a vibrant ministry of evangelism, church planting, discipleship, education, and community development across Kenya's coast. A respected church historian and scholar, Bishop Baya has championed efforts to preserve the stories of Kenya's early Christian leaders while equipping a new generation of disciples for mission. He is passionate about holistic ministry that proclaims the Gospel while serving communities through education, environmental stewardship, and compassionate outreach.
