The offices of St. John the Divine will be closed on Tuesday, December 31, and Wednesday, January 1 in recognition of New Year's Day.
The Choir of St. John the Divine begins its monthly Evensong series on Sunday, October 6 at 5 pm in the Church. Stay after Evensong for a High Tea in Sumners Hall. Choristers, parents, and staff will share their experiences from last summer's choral residency at Salisbury Cathedral. Plan to enjoy tea sandwiches and scones and watch a photo slideshow.
Evensong (sung evening prayer) at St. John the Divine is a tiny fragment of something else: it is part of the worship that is offered to God by Christian people every hour of the day and night, in every part of the world.
We invite you to join us for our monthly offering of Evensong and step into the continual stream of worship that is being offered today and will be offered to the end of time. Watch the video below for a taste of what to expect at these beautiful and contemplative worship opportunities.
This month, stay after the service for a Salisbury High Tea reception in Sumners Hall. Choristers, parents, and staff will share their experiences from last summer's choral residency at Salisbury Cathedral. Plan to enjoy tea sandwiches and scones and watch a photo slideshow.
