Grace Jackson Organ Recital

You are invited to a fun concert featuring the fantastic talent of our church community and the broader Houston area! Organist and Gerre Hancock Intern for Church Music, Grace Jackson, is joined by guitarist Phillip Zimmerle; sopranos Emily Perry and Blair McLaughlin; clarinetist Dr. Maiko Sasaki; and pianist Dr. Hayden Coie in a program of unique musical collaborations. The program begins with the juxtaposition of organ and guitar and ends with an exuberant organ and piano Sinfonia by Marcel Dupré. The concert also features Charles Villiers Stanford’s Six Bible Songs and Frederik Magle’s Threnodi (an ode of mourning). The recital will also be livestreamed.
