Mark’s gospel, written for a Roman audience, is action-packed and direct—highlighting Jesus not through titles or theology, but through his humble service. This study explores how each gospel offers a distinct picture of Jesus, with Mark portraying him as the powerful servant. As Mark 10:45 reminds us, “Even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
