National Day of Prayer

The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people to pray for the nation. Take part at St. John the Divine by praying in the Chapel on Thursday, May 1, anytime between 11 am and 1 pm. You may also fill out a prayer flag in Sumners Hall on Sundays, April 20 and 27. The prayer flags will be hung in the Julia Garden on May 1 as an outward sign of our collective prayers. This event is sponsored by the Daughters of the King.
