Many of us know that prayer is something we “should” do, but we may not know how to begin, why it matters, or even what prayer even truly is. This fall, St. John the Divine invites you into a season of exploring prayer through Sunday lectures, a parish renewal weekend, and a lay-led Bible study series. Our hope is that this will be a time of deepening our connection with God as we learn more about what "talking to God" looks like.
The journey goes on, following the Awaken retreat, and we’ll continue the conversation with a lay-led Bible study series on prayers found in Scripture, running through October and November. Each week will include teaching and small group discussion.
