The incomparable Richard Webster is coming to lead a choral workshop with The Choirs of St. John the Divine. Mr. Webster will lead rehearsals with both SJD Choristers and SJD Chorale on Wednesday, February 25, at their regular scheduled rehearsals, as well as on Friday and Saturday. He will also have the opportunity to work with The Preparatory Choir, our 1st-3rd graders, on Saturday morning. This is a wonderful time for our amazing choir family to come together in a workshop atmosphere and grow spiritually, musically, and collaboratively. You can read more about Mr. Webster below.

The RW Residency is a foundational experience that enriches our Residencies in England. The Choir of St. John the Divine is scheduled for Durham Cathedral in the summer of 2027. Our last residency at Salisbury Cathedral in the summer of 2024 was an amazing experience for all. It is so important to the tradition of Anglican Worship and music to expose the next generation to this ethereal and deeply moving worship. The chorister program of St. John the Divine currently has 97 choristers enrolled to explore, learn, and eventually lead worship in the style, a testament to a tradition that has stood the test of time. Young choristers crave excellence and high expectations and always rise to the occasion.
