Sleep in Heavenly Peace Bed Building Event
At this family-friendly, parish-wide event, volunteers will build, assemble, and deliver bunk beds to families in need. Tools and equipment will be provided. We also need volunteers to deliver beds, mattresses, and bedding to homes and help set them up. Sign up under the "About" tab below.

A bed is a basic need for the physical, emotional, and mental support a child requires. Giving a bed to a child is so much more than a physical change. It affects them emotionally and mentally in ways far beyond that - giving them hope for a better future.
8 am – 12:30 pm: Bed Building
- Help set up for the build

- Assemble headboards
- Assemble sideboards
- Strap slats
- Quality Control
- Inventory management
10 am – 2:30 pm: Bed delivery and setup
You will be provided with tools, training, and bed components to load into your vehicle and deliver to a family. Drivers need at least 2 helpers, or more if delivering 3 or more beds. Tasks include pickup, transport, setup, and return of the tool bag. Open loads may need straps and tie-downs. Closed-toe shoes are a must; bring gloves and glasses if wanted.
