Stephen Ministry 50th Anniversary Celebration
St. John the Divine will host the Stephen Ministry 50th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 9 am to 4 pm. Stephen Ministers throughout the Houston area are invited to attend, as are anyone interested in making the church and the world a caring place. Attendees will learn more about empathy, grief, and relating to those who are grieving, unexpected ways to care, mental health crises, how to care for and relate to those with cancer, and how to support the caregiver. Dr. Kenneth Haugk, Founder and Executive Director of Stephen Ministry in St. Louis, will be present to meet and speak with attendees. Cost: $15.
