Think you missed your chance to ask the big questions?
A limited-run summer podcast for anyone who's ever wondered if they were too late for faith.
Late to Church is a limited summer podcast for anyone who's ever felt like faith was out of reach, like you missed the memo, or showed up too late to ask the big questions. Hosted by Dr. Kira Moolman Pettit of The Church of St. John the Divine, Late to Church offers thoughtful, accessible conversations about God, theology, and the Christian life without the jargon or judgment. For this first season, Kira is joined by the Rev. Sutton Lowe.
Whether you're curious, cautious, coming back to church, or just figuring it out, there's room for you here.
Because it's never too late for church, and never too late to ask, explore, or belong.

Originally from South Africa, Dr. Kira Moolman Pettit is the director of formation at St. John the Divine and has a PhD in theology from Wycliffe. She is passionate about translating theology into everyday language and life, and she loves getting to preach and teach at St. John the Divine.

Now serving at St. Alban's in Waco, TX, the Rev. Sutton Lowe is a native of Lufkin and a graduate of Baylor University. After graduating from Duke Divinity School in 2023 and being ordained in the Episcopal Diocese of Texas, Sutton served as Curate at St. John the Divine until March 2026.
