Lenten Meditations 2025:

The Rev. Sutton Lowe and Dr. Kira Moolman Pettit

The Rev. Sutton Lowe and Dr. Kira Moolman Pettit

2025 Lenten Meditations
Wednesdays, March 5 – April 16 in Lent, plus a bonus episode on the Wednesday after Easter (April 23)!

Sometimes, as human beings, we can feel there is no room for our feelings. Sometimes, as Christians, we especially may not feel like there is room for uglier feelings, like anger, doubt, or grief. But when we look at the psalms, we see the full range of human emotion – from joy to lament, and sometimes even in the same psalm! This Lent, join Dr. Kira Moolman Pettit and the Rev. Sutton Lowe online as they look through the Psalms to see how the Christian faith makes room for all our feelings – and how our God takes all of them on in Jesus Christ. Our series will also include guest appearances from the Rev. Dr. Rebecca Poe Hays, the Rev. Dr. Nathan Jennings, and Dr. Brad East!
