Men's ministry offers fellowship, support, and study opportunities created with men in mind. The purpose of our ministry is to provide men with resources to develop godly character and to equip them to influence their world for Christ.
I remember walking into Men's Life for the first time at SJD and knowing that I was exactly where God wanted me. I visited other churches and never felt such a sense of comfort and belonging until that morning.

Reagan has a Master’s of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and was licensed in the State of Texas until 1998. Now he’s just an Episcopal priest who once sold bagels to pay for his honeymoon! He’s been married to Stephanie since 1986. They have two adult children.

Dad's Discipleship Group Begins

Calling all new dads! If you're navigating the early years of fatherhood and want to grow in faith while connecting with others in the same season, this group is for you. Led by the Rev. Sutton Lowe and parishioner Sean Pinckney, this monthly gathering is designed for fathers of infants through early elementary-aged kids. Each meeting will consist of Bible study, honest conversation, and prayer for one another. Meets on third Thursdays at 7 am in the Parlor.
Fall 2025 Men's Bible Study with Leigh Spruill Begins

Beginning on Thursday, September 4, the men of St. John the Divine are invited to immerse ourselves in the first half of the Book of Exodus with the Rev. Dr. Leigh Spruill. Running through October 23, Exodus: From the Burning Bush to the Fire of Sinai is a 75-minute class that includes a light breakfast, a 30-35 minutes of teaching session led by Leigh, followed by a small group discussion.
