Back-To-School Drive for Lamar Students

This summer, St. John the Divine is collecting supplies to help students at our neighbor, Lamar High School, begin the school year confident and prepared. Parishioners may shop for backpacks, uniforms, socks, and other essentials on our Amazon wish list or drop off your donations at the marked bins on campus.

Join the Service Saturday team at Christian Community Service Center's (CCSC) Family Service Day. Parents and children will learn about poverty in Houston and the impact of CCSC’s work, and pack hygiene kits for CCSC food pantry clients. Open to families with children in kindergarten through 6th grade. Bring one bag of non-perishable food to donate.
Sandwich Brigade for Agape Development

Join the Sandwich Brigade on Sunday, June 21, as we prepare 140 lunches for campers at Agape Development! Volunteers will gather in Sumners Hall between services from 9:30 and 11:30 am to help assemble lunches for local children attending summer camp. This is a simple, hands-on way to serve our Houston community. All ages are welcome, and many hands make light work! **Please note that children under 13 must be assisted by their parents.
