Covenant House Texas (CHT) is a faith-based organization committed to giving homeless youth a safe haven, absolute respect, unconditional love, and a path to lasting independence. In partnership with the community, we are the voice for homeless youth.
Covenant House Texas opened its doors in 1983 to provide shelter and comprehensive services for homeless, abandoned and trafficked youth ages 18 – 24. After more than 40 years of service, CHT continues to offer a complete continuum of care for youth, including medical and mental health care, substance use counseling, education and career readiness training, street outreach and prevention, faith-based ministry and parenting classes, in addition to providing the basic necessities of food, clothing, and safe shelter.
