Join us as we gather in service and support of our local mission partners. Opportunities vary from month to month.

Upcoming Service Saturdays

• February 7: Service Saturday at Casa Mateo
  Join us from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. as we serve alongside the Casa Mateo community. Volunteers will help with indoor cleaning and organizing projects, followed by a joyful lunch and bingo with resident families. Optional donation opportunities suggestions are welcome. Sign up to serve.
  
• March 14: Service Saturday: Prestige Learning Institute 
  Join SJD for a Service Saturday on Saturday, March 14, at Prestige Learning Institute, one of our newest Community Partners. PLI is a Houston-based organization committed to empowering students through education, mentorship, and encouragement. While the specific service projects are still being finalized, we look forward to supporting their campus and the meaningful work they do each day. Come ready to serve, connect, and be inspired.
  
• April 11: Service Saturday: Sleep in Heavenly Peace 
  Join us on Saturday, April 11, as St. John the Divine partners with Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that every child has a safe, comfortable bed of their own. Volunteers will work together to build beds for children in our community who need them. More details and sign-up information coming soon—mark your calendar now!
