Yellowstone Schools 

Founded in 2001 and rooted in the Christian faith, Yellowstone Schools collectively educates more than 600 children in Pre-K through 11th grade and will grow a grade each year to serve 12th grade by 2026. Yellowstone partners with students and families—regardless of financial means—to provide a life-changing education, develop a strong moral foundation, and prepare scholars for life beyond high school. The K12 campus is located in the Third Ward, one of Houston's oldest historically Black neighborhoods.

• Field Day (Wednesday, May 28, 2025) 7:30 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.; ages 21yrs+
• Volunteers will distribute snacks.
• Campus Services Volunteers (Saturday, August 9, 2025) 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.; ages 12yrs+
• Volunteers will paint, organize storage rooms, and more.
• Lunch Buddies (lunchtime mentors) and Tutors - (weekdays starting October 2025); ages 21yrs+
