Responding to God's Gifts of Faith and Gratitude

God’s higher spiritual power calls us; we need to acknowledge it and use it daily for God’s good. God gives us faith and gratitude, which allows us to show appreciation for and return kindness to others and to him and his kingdom. God gives us many talents, and He allows us to use those talents to the best of our ability.
Whether it’s our time, money, stewardship, or just a combination of all, it is our duty to God and the community and its people to give back with a grateful mind, body, and soul. As we leave this wonderful church service on Sundays and go about our busy lives, we need to take just a few minutes each day to ask ourselves, “God, how do you want me to use my talents to give back to you?” God blesses us all with many divine gifts in our lives each day.
I ask myself and all of you today to consider giving with your heart and mind what you can to the church, others in the community, and to God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Thank you all for your time. Thank you for St. John the Divine Church. Thanks to God, and God bless you all.
