Our rector, the Rev. Dr. R. Leigh Spruill, will be on sabbatical from May 1 through July 15. This intentional season of rest and renewal is rooted in the biblical rhythm of Sabbath: stepping away from regular responsibilities to be spiritually refreshed and prepared for future ministry.
During this time, Leigh will engage in study, travel, and prayer, focusing on historic movements of renewal in the Church. The vestry fully supports this sabbatical, trusting it will lead to renewed vision, energy, and fruitfulness for our parish. While he is away, our clergy, staff, and vestry will continue to lead and care for the life of the church.
