We are very pleased to report that we are ahead of budget, thanks be to God! And a big thank you to our generous parishioners who are staying current or ahead on their giving. Your church remains in a strong financial position with healthy cash reserves. What a blessing!

It is an exciting time at St. John the Divine as we follow God’s lead to expand our ministries, be “A Light for the City,” and gear up for a much-needed capital campaign. We look forward to upgrading our facilities to better serve our expanded ministry vision. Please make giving generously and sacrificially to your church a priority in your personal budget and continue to give over the summer, even while you are on vacation.  As a reminder, it is never too late to make a pledge or gift to support St. John the Divine’s ministries and activities.  This can help us continue to provide excellent programming, such as our Lenten speaker series, repair a major unexpected plumbing issue, or expand our children’s and youth ministries, among other initiatives. It also helps us continue to enhance our outreach ministries as we seek to be “A Light for the City” of Houston.
