Why GLS?

The older I get as a Christian, the more I appreciate that being a disciple of Jesus is a life-long apprenticeship. I always need to learn and grow, and I believe the commitment to life-long learning is a hallmark of leaders. The best leaders are always moving toward growth and understand that they must grow themselves before they can foster growth in other people and organizations. The Global Leadership Summit (GLS) is an outstanding opportunity to meet new people and learn from some of the most accomplished leaders in the world about how to grow in self-awareness, capacity, and influence.

I am personally looking forward to attending the GLS at St. John the Divine on August 3 and 4. This is our sixth year of hosting this unique and inspiring event. I know that my life and leadership skills will benefit from the experience, and I am confident that yours will too.

One of the key pieces of our vision at St. John the Divine is developing opportunities to help SJD strengthen our invitational culture. This year we are introducing a “Bring a Friend for Free” program. For each ticket you purchase, you will be able to introduce a friend to the GLS at no cost.
