Jesus’ call to “make disciples of all nations” (Matt. 28:19) is not an isolated command—it is the culmination of the whole Gospel story. Throughout his ministry, Jesus forms a people who share his life, bear his light, and participate in his mission. To walk in the way of the King is to be drawn into that mission: rooted in Scripture, empowered by the Spirit, and sent into the world God loves. Each week, we will reflect on Jesus’ words of commissioning and consider what it means for us, as a church, to bear witness to his ways and participate in his presence in Houston today.
