Summer Sunday Nights
Join us Sundays in June for a series of fun evenings for the whole family! Lawn games and dinner provided by the SJD Grill Team.
Blues & Brunch - July 2
Join us for Blues and Brunch between services. Celebrate the summer and being together with a delicious brunch and blues music.
BINGO Night - July 12
Join us for BINGO night with the whole family. Fun prizes, fellowship, and dinner while it lasts. We'll bring chicken, you bring the fixin's!
Rally Day - Aug 27
It's time to rally after summer! Join us for an outdoor carnival, silent auction, cookout lunch, and kick-off for the fall.
Education
Sunday Adult Ed
The clergy of St. John the Divine lead this summer study of the parables of Jesus at 10:15 am Sundays. No small groups.
Young Adults
Tori Gilliland leads this 4-week study based on Richard Baukham's book: "Bible and Mission." Tuesdays June 6-27 at 10:15 in Sumners Hall
Discover Membership
This five-week class is led by the clergy and leads to adult confirmation. Sundays at 10:15 am in the Parlor beginning May 23

The SJD Chorale offers this Evensong service for Trinity Sunday, June 4 at 5:00 pm in the Church
RSCM Choral Eucharist
RSCM Gulf Coast Summer Course Choir leads Choral Eucharist during the 11:15 am service on June 25

Taco Tuesdays
SJD Youth are invited to spend June 13 & 27 and July 18 serving in the community and sharing a taco lunch
Junior High Service Trip
Students travel to San Antonio June 18 - 24 to volunteer restoring homes with Blueprint Ministries
For Young Adults
Service Saturday
Spend Saturday, June 24 playing summer activities and games with toddlers from Casa de Esperanza de los Ninos.

Spend Saturday, July 22 leading lunch, bingo, and a fun activity for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities

Spend Saturday, August 5 prepping and serving lunch at The Beacon to those in need of a fresh hot meal
Candlelight Compline
This prayer service includes scripture reading, hymns, and prayers. Held on the third Thursday at 7 pm in the Chapel
